Electronics is a branch of science and technology that deals with the flow of electrons through nonmetallic conductors, mainly semiconductors such as silicon. It is distinct from electrical science and technology, which deal with the flow of electrons and other charge carriers through metal conductors such as copper. This distinction started around 1906 with the invention by Lee De Forest of the triode. Until 1950 this field was called "radio technology" because its principal application was the design and theory of radio transmitters, receivers and vacuum tubes. The study of semiconductor devices and related technology is considered a branch of physics, whereas the design and construction of electronic circuits to solve practical problems come under electronics engineering. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to get some flea bombs but how do I use them around the tv and stuff? Do I have to cover the electronics or can I just let the bombs off? What about the kitchen? I've been vaccuuming every day and the numbers are down but not completely going away. We actually got the fleas from a couch. We've never had fleas until my husbands niece gave us a couch and now we have fleas and we can't get rid of them. Will we have to get rid of the couch? I went to Home Depot and got that big container of flea spray called Enforcer. It has always worked for us. If you spray the sofa it should kill the fleas. Vacuum everything very well first and then spray. Be sure to get rid of the vacuum bag or empty the cup. You will need to repeat all this in a few weeks just in case you missed any egss. Just follow the instructions on the bottle and you'll be fine. I'm assuming that you don't have pets. If you do they will undoubtedly have contracted the nasty little buggers and you will have to remove them when you treat your house and treat them as well. This is the spray. If you took the ASVAB honestly, and without preparation, and if you qualified for ET, while it might not be a cake walk, you should do ok... that's what the ASVAB is designed to do, as lunatic implies. If you're not really qualified... that is, if you took a lot of practice tests and the results on the ASVAB only indicate you're ability to take the dumb test, then you may be able to do the job, but you might have difficulty doing it. If that's the case you're going to have to work ten times as hard as the guy who's qualified to get the job done reasonably well. At the end of the day you'll be exhausted. Q. It always seems that after you buy a new laptop, television, or DVD player, bigger and better things are released. I am wondering if there is a trend in the release of new electronics? Right before Christmas? At the end of the summer? I am looking into buying a netbook now, but I will wait until the end of the summer if new things will be coming out.
